The origins of I Brush My Teeth for Free

Well, here I sit. As the family gathers around the television to watch a movie on the eve of one of our nations most celebrated holidays, Thanksgiving, I am super excited to start this blog! I was once a blogger but that was sometime ago so this is still new to me.

The purpose of this blog is mainly to motivate myself into taking time to share with others my daily deal findings.  I know there are many, many other blogs out there that do just the same thing but, I can't help myself. We will see how this goes, if I am able to keep up with it on a daily basis, I will continue this journey, with a hope that you will continue it with me!

It wasn't long ago when my friend and now fellow blogger, Kerri, introduced me to the world of couponing.  I'm so thankful for all that she taught me.  I know there are others that need the same information that she provided for me.

The world of couponing is, indeed, a whole different world compared to the way I used to live! Couponing and deal finding has become something of an obsession of mine.

The first question that I get when people notice that I am a couponer is, "How do you have time for that?" and "Where do you find all of these deals?" One must make time, my friend, to find these deals. But the good news is, there are usually others out there willing to put in the time for you! Its Hip to Save is a blog I follow on a more-than-daily basis. I can't just visit once, no, that is just not enough. Collin, the blog leader, is continually finding deals and frequently posts something new times throughout the day. I love it!

So, I was brushing my teeth this morning, for free, I might add, when I thought of a great name for my new blog, a blog that, before this morning, I didn't know I was starting. In March, I decided I didn't want to spend money on toothpaste (and other items) anymore! I mean, why pay for an item when you can get them for free (or close to free)?  There are few things that make a person feel better than feeling like you got a good deal on something! I've been brushing my teeth for free, ever since. :-)
